Samira and Amir met several years ago at a friend's graduation party. Samira was the new girl in town whom all the guys wanted to talk to. Amir was instantly taken by her from across the room. He kept his distance while all the others fought for her attention, until he finally caught her standing alone with an empty wine glass. He asked why she wasn't drinking, and she said "because I don't have anyone to drink with." After quickly filling up her wine glass, they started talking and realized they had not only grown up in the same city in Iran, but also had attended the same elementary school at the same time. They even found a school photo of themselves together. Fast forward about 15 years after elementary school and another 8 years of dating, they got married at Amir's sister's vineyard in Sonoma recently and had one of the most vibrant and engergetic weddings we have seen. When we left at 2 am after five straight hours of dancing, the party was still going full force into the night.
