This summer, Angelica and Pete were married at the Tra Vigne Restaurant in St. Helena, CA. Angelica and Pete made a point to include their children in the ceremony, which made it really special and unique. Afterward, I had a blast shooting everyone dancing together.

Thanks Angelica and Pete for planning such a beautiful day and a great party, and allowing me to be your photographer. It was an honor to witness the blending of your two families.

Congratulations to our dear friends Ben and Erin, who recently exchanged vows in a tear-filled, candle-lit ceremony set among the ruins of an 18th century Mexican hacienda.

It was one of the great honors of my life to be asked to participate in, rather than document, this event. As such, I have just two instant photographs to share – both taken over the shoulders of our talented friends Craig and Kitty Fritz and Vlad Chaloupka.

(Vlad’s amazing preview of the wedding is here.)

All my love to the newlyweds – may your life together be a series of  spontaneous dance parties.

Julie and James both work in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, which may explain why they manage to look so cool, so effortlessly. We met for a portrait session at James’ family home in Santa Rosa, where they will be married later this year. The property boasts stunning golden hillsides dotted with oaks and a spectacular view of the valley below.

If Julie looks familiar, you may have seen Ben’s coverage of her sister Carrie’s wedding in 2008.

I was privileged to have the lovely Lonnie volunteer as photo assistant for me.
